COSME, the programme for the Competitiveness of Enterprises and Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs), funds many initiatives that help small businesses access new markets.

Programming, monitoring and evaluation

The Commission has a legal obligation to monitor the implementation of the COSME programme, to report annually and to disseminate the results of this monitoring.

Supporting entrepreneurs

The promotion of entrepreneurship and an entrepreneurial culture is therefore one of the main objectives of COSME.
