Global Foodture’s target SMEs
Without serious international cooperation to mitigate climate change, food insecurity is likely to increase significantly, particularly in the least developed, poorer countries. Due to the increasing demand that agriculture will face in the near future, the most important challenge to address is to improve agricultural productivity in a sustainable way.
It is vital to increase efficiency in the use of natural resources and produce the same out with a reduced set of inputs, while simultaneously reducing food waste and losses.
Global Foodture will work with SMEs along the entire agrifood value chain, which have potential to provide solutions for these mutual challenges within Asia and Europe.
