Join the DIH AGRIFOOD network
Since the ITC cluster is a founder, manager and main administration office of the DIH AGRIFOOD – Digital Innovation Hub for Agriculture and Food production, the Global Foodture Network will be integrated (as support services) within the DIH and backed up by the DIH AGRIFOOD services, in order to be able to utilize existing DIH infrastructure, network and communication channels.
DIH AGRIFOOD brings together Slovenian and European research and development expertise in the field of Agriculture and Food production. The network provides the latest knowledge on digitalization of this industry – so called ”Smart Agriculture”. The goal of DIH AGRIFOOD is to represents a One-Stop-Shop providing services to organizations in the region through a multipartner cooperation in order to provide safe, sustainable and quality food.
Our services include:
• Awareness raising on digital technologies,
• Collaboration with other DIH’s and networks,
• Knowledge and Technology Transfer,
• Financing / Funding,
• Development of strategies and business modelling,
• Mentoring and training,
• Living Lab infrastructure.
At DIH AGRIFOOD we have developed the networking platform based on expert facilitation, which will be used to support implementing services listed above. The platform is called AGRIFOOD COOPERATION PLATFORM.
AGRIFOOD COOPERATION PLATFORM is a mapping tool, where we insert and display all relevant:
1. Organizations,
2. Projects,
3. Thematic Networks,
3. Products and services,
4. Living lab cases / DEMOS.
5. Digital Innovation Hubs (DIHs)
6. Startup/SME support
We use this data for European target groups (Startups, SMEs, business support organizations and others) but we also include networking with other European DIHs, projects and Thematic Networks. Our goal is to identify and build upon the DIH AGRIFOOD transnational network, covering all European countries.
Global Foodture partners, target audience (especially potential users of knowledge and technologies) and other stakeholders will be systematically identified and invited for close collaboration under the open and free DIH AGRIFOOD cooperation platform, providing excellent networking, and dissemination and promotion possibilities based on appointed DIH AGRIFOOD facilitators.
The platform is a database of carefully selected type of data that allows DIH AGRIFOOD members and other interested parties (open platform) to present and use the asset of DIH AGRIFOOD for meeting supply (solutions) and demand (needs) in the agro-food sector.
In addition, the platform is used as a communication channel to all registered organizations which will be used also for Global Foodture dissemination and promotion activities. The platform is based on Facilitators, trained representatives of DIH AGRIFOOD members who are able to understand and resolve needs connected to digital transformation and act as Technology transfer managers. The platform is hosting: Organizations, Projects, Thematic Networks, Products and services, Living labs, DIHs and Facilitators.
